A wine produced with noble “Becuet” vine’s grapes, which distinguishes itself for its rusticity and preservability.
Already cultivated in Roman times, these vines were also harvested during the 20th century in the French Alpine Valleys, with the denomination of “Persan”. However, the production was then abandoned. Conversely, thanks to the suitable mild climate characterizing the region, Becuet grapes’ harvesting was continued in Piedmont’s Valsusa’s area, where an espalier with Guyot pruning was exploited.
Nowadays, the company has re-planted 2 hectares of Becuet (2005-2006) and has been using the most modern cultivation technologies to obtain a wine of excellent quality and suitable for ageing.
The Ramà wine has a garnet red colour and the taste is characterised by strong fruity hints. aged for 12 months in steel preserves, its aromas are particularly distinctive and fresh. it praises a good structure and has a good alcohol percentage. It can be served with pasta dishes, red meat and game.
